We will ensure that your accounts are available for tenants within six months of the year end to comply with both the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 and the requirements of your membership of ARMA (ARMA-Q).
Audit of service charge accounts
Many residential leases contain requirements for audited service charge accounts to be prepared each year. An “audit” requires special considerations and must be carried out in accordance with International Auditing Standard, ISA800. If you require an audit of service charge accounts, contact us. We will prepare our audit or certification report to your accounts in accordance with best practice guidance, TECH03/11 AND THE 3RD RICS Residential Management Code.

Residential service charge specialists
All members of the Haines Watts Service Charge Team have recently attended the ARMA course, “Introduction to Residential Property Management”. As a result, all our team are familiar with the legislation and working practices that affect Property Managers. This enables the team to provide a value added service to Residential Managing Agents.
